Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

In the evening at 8:30 pm, we'll catch the overnight train bound for Lao Cai. The trains depart from Hanoi Railway Station around 9:00 PM.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Fansipan

Early in the morning, around 5:00 am, we'll arrive at Lao Cai train station. Our local team will be there to warmly welcome you and take you to a nearby restaurant for a delicious breakfast.

After breakfast, we'll hop into a car and head to the Silver Waterfall. If you're up for it, there's an optional short walk to the waterfall to enjoy its beauty. From there, we'll continue our journey to Heaven's Gate, which boasts the highest roads in Vietnam and offers breathtaking views of Mt Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina.

The trek in the morning will be relatively easy, and we'll stop for lunch after a couple of hours. With our bellies full, we'll continue the climb, reaching the campsite at 2900m altitude. Along the way, be prepared to be enchanted by the scenic beauty and captivating views of Sapa and Lai Chai region. For the night, we'll be camping in cozy tents.

Day 3: Climbing Fansipan Mountain

As the sun rises, we'll have breakfast and then start the climb to the summit, which will take about 2 hours. Once at the top, you'll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the surrounding area. After soaking it all in, we'll begin the descent, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way.

The downhill hike will lead us through thick rainforest, and you'll need to stay focused as we follow a steep and narrow trail. We'll eventually reach the campsite at 2700m above sea level, where we'll have dinner and spend another night in cozy camping tents.

Day 4: Fansipan – Sapa – Hanoi

Awake in the midst of the wild nature, we'll trek back to Sapa. Most of the trek will be downhill and will take us through well-protected forests until noon, where we'll break for lunch.

In the afternoon, we'll continue the downhill trek, making our way to Sin Chai, a charming village inhabited by the Black H'mong. From there, a car will pick us up and take us back to Sapa town. Later in the day, we'll board the bus for our return journey to Hanoi. Buses usually depart around 4:00 PM and will arrive in Hanoi at approximately 10:00 PM.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay

At 8:00 AM, we'll pick you up from your Hanoi hotel and set off for Halong City, where our fantastic Cruise awaits. Once onboard, you'll receive a warm welcome and savor a delectable Vietnamese lunch. As we set sail through the majestic rock formations of Halong Bay, you can relax on the sun deck or have some fun kayaking. Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi

Welcome the day with a serene Taichi session as the sun rises over the bay. After breakfast, we'll explore the mysterious Dark and Light Caves, either by kayak or on a guided bamboo boat. The enchanting scenery and memorable moments will be yours to treasure. After a delicious lunch on board, we'll head back to Tuan Chau Port and return to Hanoi.
