Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau

At 9:00 AM, your guide and driver will meet you at your Hanoi hotel. Get ready to be amazed by the scenic route along national road #6, and don't miss the chance to see the Electric Power Plant in Hoa Binh city during a quick stop. As we reach Cun Mountain, you'll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of Mai Chau's lush valley and charming stilt houses.

Around noon, we'll arrive in Mai Chau, and a warm welcome awaits as you enjoy a delightful home-hosted lunch in a local stilt house. Afterward, the afternoon is yours to explore further. You can opt for a refreshing hike or an exciting bike ride through the captivating Mai Chau valley, passing by peaceful villages and picturesque rice fields. As the day winds down, we'll be treated to a traditional dinner, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Thai ethnic group who have called this area home for generations. A memorable overnight stay in Mai Chau awaits.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Pu Luong

Wake up to a lovely morning in Mai Chau. After breakfast, you can choose to relax by the hotel poolside or take a leisurely stroll around the village, soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. At approximately 10:00 AM, we'll set off for Pu Luong, a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Its stunning rice terraces, majestic mountain passes, and traditional villages with unique cultural traditions are simply captivating.

Upon arrival at Pu Luong retreat, we'll enjoy lunch, followed by some free time to explore the views and serene atmosphere. In the afternoon, get ready for an exciting adventure as we head to the Cham River's suspension bridge. There, you'll witness fascinating water wheels up close, marveling at the simple yet ingenious constructions used to move water from the river to handmade bamboo aqueducts.

The real fun begins as we embark on a rafting adventure along the calm river, learning how to paddle and steer your own handcrafted rafts. The scenery around you will be truly mesmerizing. After the thrilling experience, we'll head back to hotel for dinner and a well-deserved overnight stay.

Day 3: Pu Luong – Tam Coc

Rise and shine, it's time to explore the beautiful valley! Prepare to be enchanted as we walk through tumbling rice terraces, revealing a picturesque village nestled at the base of a towering mountain. The journey continues as we weave through roads, farmland, villages, and scenic landscapes, offering an ever-changing panorama. We'll arrive at a stunning spot before heading back to hotel for lunch.

After lunch, we'll depart for Tam Coc in Ninh Binh province. Once we reach Tam Coc in the late afternoon, you'll check into your hotel for a cozy overnight stay.

Day 4: Tam Coc – Phat Diem Cathedral – Tam Coc

Today, we'll explore the fascinating Phat Diem Cathedral, a remarkable blend of Vietnamese and French architecture. The unique church with pagoda-style roofs and traditional Vietnamese temple features is truly awe-inspiring. Afterward, we'll embark on a 2-hour boat ride, where you'll be amazed by the magnificent grottoes and limestone karst mountains, earning Tam Coc the nickname "Halong on Land."

Prepare for a captivating experience as we visit an ancient temple dating back to the 13th century, dedicated to the Tran Dynasty Emperors. You can choose to pay your respects by burning an incense stick. We'll spend another night in Tam Coc.

Day 5: Tam Coc – Hoa Lu – Hanoi

As the sun rises, we'll embark on a short and refreshing bike ride from Tam Coc to Hoa Lu, Vietnam's first capital. Explore the Temples dedicated to King Dinh Bo Linh and Le Hoan, and make a stop to climb Hang Mua Mountain, which rewards you with breathtaking views of Ninh Binh.

Following lunch, we'll begin our journey back to Hanoi, concluding this trip full of memories and experiences.
