Thuan Thanh Bac Ninh is a rural district of Bac Ninh province. Thuan Thanh district covers an area of 116 km². This is not an ideal place for mountain biking and challenging bicycle rides. Thuan Thanh district consists of 1 township and 17 communes including Ho, An Binh, Dai Dong Thanh, Dinh To, Gia Dong, Ha Man, Hoai Thuongn, Mao Dien, Nghia Dao, Ngu Thai, Nguyet Duc, Ninh Xa, Song Ho, Song Lieu, Thanh Khuong, Tram Lo, Tri Qua, and Xuan Lam.
The best way to get to Thuan Thanh from Hanoi is to rent a car with driver. The car journey takes about 1 hour. There are also different day buses and trains leaving from Hanoi to Bac Ninh city. If you take the bus from Hanoi to Bac Ninh city, you will need then to hire a car or take a taxi, motor-taxi to get brought to Thuan Thanh.

Thuan Thanh district features a warm humid subtropical climate with plentiful precipitation. The annual average temperature is 24 °C in Thuan Thanh region. The highest is 30 °C in July; the lowest is 15 °C in January. The district experiences the typical climate of northern Vietnam, where summers are hot and humid, and winters are, by national standards, relatively cold and dry. Summers, lasting from May to September, are hot and humid, receiving the majority of the annual 1,680 millimetres (66.1 in) of rainfall. The winters, lasting from November to March, are relatively mild, dry (in the first half) or humid (in the second half), while spring (April) can bring light rains. Autumn (October) is the best time of the year in terms of weather. The average annual sunshine is 1,530-1,776 hours, relative humidity is 79%.
What to visit
Dong Ho painting is a genre of Vietnamese woodcut paintings originated from Dong Ho village.
Dau Pagoda was built between AD 187 and 226.The pagoda is in the area of the remains of the ancient citadel and Buddhist center of Luy Lau. Luy Lau as the ancient capital of Nam Viet after it became a Han Dynasty Chinese province called Jiaozhou, or Jiaozhi under the Chinese Commandery-Chief of Shi Xie.
But Thap Temple is one of the most famous pagodas in Viet Nam. Inside, there are various valuable ancient objects and statues, which are considered to be Vietnamese masterpieces of 17th century wood carving.
What to do
Thuan Thanh district is topographically flat and characterized by paddy fields and rural hamlets. There are neither mountains nor forests. The area is not an ideal place for challenging mountain climbs, mountain biking, jungle trekking.
Cycling is the best way to explore Thuan Thanh rural villages. Ride the quiet trails through rice fields and small villages.
