Doan Hung is best known for its grape fruits, also called Phu Doan Grapefruit which has its special characteristics of small size, juicy, sweet and soft taste and thin skin.

The Dao build their houses in the traditional style, built either on stilts, level with the ground or half on stilts and the other half beaten with earth. Getting to Doan Hung
The best way to get to Doan Hung from Hanoi is to rent a car with driver. You will be picked up in Hanoi and directly brought to Doan Hung Vietnam. Those who are on budget can take local public bus. There are few direct buses from My Dinh bus station to Doan Hung. Otherwise Hanoi Viet Tri bus takes about 4 hours on road.
