Meo Vac market is located in Meo Vac district, Ha Giang proving, in the north eastern region of Vietnam. It is open only on Sunday, starting early morning at about 6am and ending around noon.
Meo Vac market is the most impressive market in the northern highlands of Vietnam. This is also the largest market in Ha Giang province, where people from villages all around Meo Vac come to trade and socialize.
Entering the market, you can see all kinds of local agricultural products such as pig, chicken, fish, bamboo shoots, corn, curd, honey, wild vegetables and herbal leaves. The best way to explore this market is just walk by or stand at one of the stalls and observe what they are doing.
